Wake x2.5 Gen1 Night Vision Scope is great for observation at medium distance ranges up to 200 yards. The scope design allows its use in harsh field conditions such as hunting, fishing, and hiking as well as for nature observation purposes.
The unit has a magnification of x2.5 and a specially designed high-aperture 44 mm objective lens. Wake 2.5x features fully multi-coated optics that decreases glare and improves light transmission providing excellent viewing experience. A wide field of view of about 40 yards at the observation distance of 200 yard makes Wake x2.5 a perfect device for observing moving objects.
Wake x2.5 is small enough to fit in your hand and allow one hand operation. The built-in powerful IR illuminator enables clear viewing in low ambient light conditions at the range up to 50 yards. The ergonomically designed, satin paint, durable body is surprisingly comfortable, making usage experience that much more enjoyable.
New features in 2009
The scope is furnished with an automatic shut off after 2 seconds, when exposed to intense light sources, to protect an image intensifier tube. This feature is unique in its class and is not present in any other Gen 1 night vision devices.
The lens cap slide-in groove was added to prevent the lens cap loss, where the cap can be firmly secured to the monocular body while the device is in use.
Wake 2.5 is 20% more energy efficient than its competitors. As a result, its battery life of 60 hours is best in its class.
For added convenience during extended observation times, the device includes a built-in ¼” tripod socket.
